SUMMARY:Prep V Chester Zoo trip
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday 24th June, Prep V will be visiting Chester Zoo as part of our Geography topic on Rainforests. The children will participate in a workshop where they will use their senses to imagine what it feels like in the rainforest and think about why rainforests are under threat. We will also think about the classification of animals in the rainforest, their adaptations, life cycles and food chains. In the afternoon, we will explore the zoo to look at rainforest animals and their habitats.\nWe will leave school at 9.10am and return for 3.30pm, travelling via minibus. A packed lunch will be provided. Full school uniform must be worn. Children are welcome to bring money for souvenirs, though we suggest no more than £10.\n
