A theatre trip has been organised to see the production of ‘Private Peaceful’ at the Blackpool Grand Theatre in Blackpool on Wednesday 4th May. This trip will fit in with the topic of ‘WWI Poetry and Propaganda’ covered in Year 8 English lessons in the spring term. The production is an adaptation of a novel, which students are also reading to accompany this topic.

The performance starts at 2pm and we will be leaving school at 11am, returning to school for approximately 5.30-6pm, traffic depending. Parents should therefore make arrangements for your child to be collected from school from 5.30pm onwards.

A packed lunch will be provided.
