Bridgewater Parent – EYFS to Sixth Form

“A wonderful school with wonderful staff! My son started here at 3 years of age and is now leaving for university. He has had a fantastic education with results to support this. Bridgewater encourages all students to reach their potential in both the academic field and as individuals in society. The family feel, approachable and supportive staff led by an inspirational Head, is testimony to the school motto ‘Where Individuals Count’. Thank you Bridgewater School for an amazing 15 years.”

Bridgewater Parent – EYFS to Senior School

“We have three children; two boys and a girl, who all started in kindergarten, have moved through the prep department, and next year will all be in the senior school. We feel it would be very hard to find a school anywhere, for any price, at which their individual educational, emotional, social and physical development could have been nurtured in such a balanced, personal manner. The school environment and approach nurtures children to develop socially and emotionally in such a way that they grow in inner confidence, which is a cornerstone of mental health and happiness for the rest of their lives. The school’s size, integrated activities across year groups and co-educational approach also enables the children to grow in social confidence.

With its picturesque historic school buildings, size and setting, it has the more intimate feel of a village school than you would expect from its suburban location. The sports facilities and PE department are also excellent, with a broad range of easy to access extra-curricular activities on offer. Our children’s different abilities, interests and also difficulties, have all been supported in a way we feel would simply not  be possible in larger schools, or in other smaller schools where the focus on the individual is not prioritised.”

Bridgewater Alumni – Prep to Sixth Form

“I joined Bridgewater in Prep III, and the fact that I stayed right through to Sixth Form speaks for itself. You would be hard pressed to find another academic institution that succeeds so strongly in catering to the individual needs of every pupil My many years at Bridgewater were integral in forming me into the person I am today. The small class sizes built my confidence and ability, and my academic curiosity was encouraged by dedicated, passionate teaching staff.”

Bridgewater Parent – Kindergarten to Sixth Form

“Thank you Bridgewater and all the team. You took my tiny little boy and helped guide him into the beautiful young man he is today. When he walked through the doors in his school uniform for the very first time I knew he was going to be okay. He had just joined a massive second family. Picking him up in the evening and hearing children of all ages calling his name, made me confident he was settling in. He loved Bridgewater from Kindergarten to Sixth. How lucky we were to find you.”
