Examination Results

Our aim at Bridgewater is for every student to achieve their personal best, whether that is a grade 9 or a grade 5. Our students consistently achieve and exceed their targets; typically achieving 3 times the proportion of top grades compared to baseline targets. The number of students achieving the national benchmark of 5 or more good GCSE passes has been consistently at and above target, with many individual outstanding performances.

At A-level we pride ourselves not only on our students’ results, but also on the superb individual guidance they receive that enables virtually every student to secure a place at their first choice university or Higher Level Apprenticeship. In summer 2020 over half of all grades were at A* and A, and over 80% of grades at A*-B. 20% of our cohort secured places to study Medicine and Veterinary Science.
