Mission Statement:

“We aim to capture the imagination of our pupils, engender within them a passion for Science and equip them for their chosen career path by developing scientific skills.”

 

Curriculum

All students are taught in separate classes for Biology, Chemistry and Physics from year 7 to year 11.

Year 7 & 8 follow a KS3 Curriculum based on the National Curriculum.

The emphasis is on practical science skills to develop scientific knowledge and understanding.

Year 9 – 11 follow the AQA GCSE Curriculum for Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

In year 11 students will either sit separate science  in each subject or a double award science examination (worth 2 GCSEs)

In Sixth form we follow the AQA A level courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
