World Book Day

As part of our continuous focus on literacy, we like to celebrate World Book Day each March as a way of emphasising the wonder of books and reading to our children.

This year, EYFS children are invited to dress up as their favourite book character for the day and are encouraged to bring that book with them on the day. Prep pupils are invited to bring in their favourite book which will be kept with them at all times during the day, ready to stop what they are doing and continue reading when a bell sounds.
