Sixth Form

The two years of Sixth Form are the defining years of school life. Which is why the exceptional focus we can bring to all students through the intimacy and support of small classes, together with the support network of small tutor groups, can make all the difference.

A difference which manifests in exceptional A Level pass rates, year after year (read more about exam results).

“Older pupils achieve well across a range of qualifications. They move onto highly appropriate next step destinations in employment, training or education.”

An approach which creates successful individuals

At this stage in your academic career, the ability to develop a strong work ethic and successfully embrace independent learning are a given. So it helps that Bridgewater School promotes a spirit of both independent thinking and successful collaboration.

Like many of our students, we think you will find the experience of being treated as an individual can be truly liberating. Through extra-curricular and enrichment activities you will be able to pursue new interests and enjoy collective experiences which in many cases often develop into lifelong interests.

Be anything you want to be

Besides nurturing your individual qualities, we will also help you to recognise your true potential, both academically and personally. We will equip you with the skills you need to transition into the next stage of your life, whether you decide on university or another direction.

For further enlightenment, please contact our Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Hilton, on 0161 794 1463 or email admin@bwslive.co.uk.

Our A Level pass rates speak for themselves. But it is the success of our individual approach which says so much about our school.
