UK University and Apprenticeship Spring Fair

As part of our ongoing enrichment programme, Sixth Form students will be visiting the UK University & Apprenticeship Search event, taking place on Friday 3rd February 2023 at Old Trafford stadium.

The fair aims to provide students with more of the guidance they need, wherever they are in their decision making process. From choosing the right university/HE course, to enabling students to gain an overview of the range of academic and career pathways they can pursue. The events are perfectly timed to help students in Year 12 as they begin to make decision about their post-18 education and career choices, ahead of starting to prepare their UCAS and apprenticeship applications in the summer term. Additionally, the Spring Fair is a great way to provide extra support for Year 13s, who are undecided about their future.

The fair will feature:

  • A multitude of exhibitors including Russell Group, modern and specialist institutions and apprenticeship providers from a variety of sectors
  • An extensive range of seminars including: Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, Life at University, Why Take an Apprenticeship, UCAS Personal Statements and Student Finance
  • Expert advice from university and apprenticeship providers.

We will leave school at around 10am and return by the end of the school day, in time for school transport. A packed lunch will be provided and there will be facilities to purchase refreshments and snacks at the event.
