Prep III trip to Chester Grosvenor Museum

As part of our History topic on the Romans, Prep III will be going to visit the Grosvenor Roman Museum in Chester on Monday 10th February 2025.

The day consists of a workshop led by a museum expert, during which the children will learn about Roman times by investigating artefacts. The pupils will also participate in a Roman soldier patrol, when they will discover what life was like for a Roman soldier and visit various Roman remains including the amphitheatre. This will be a truly memorable learning experience for all the children.

We will leave school at 9am and return at approximately 3.10pm. Children must wear their school PE kit, including their school coat. A packed lunch will be provided.
