Pastoral

A successful transition from home to school is essential.  Good home school links and partnerships with parents allow us to develop warm and caring relationships, which aid us in working towards a positive outcome for all involved.

That is why, here within the Bridgewater family, we place great value on the close relationships we build with parents. It is a true partnership, where parents feel fully informed and involved in their children’s learning and our ‘open door’ policy encourages openness and transparency, fostering approachability to all staff.

Bridgewater School Kindergarten

In order for children to learn successfully, they need to be in a secure environment where they feel safe, comfortable and cared for.  Children need to have space where they can relax and rest as well as space to be boisterous and energetic.

Young children make better learning connections in their brains in an enriched environment where adult support and intervention is crucial.  This enables them to build on the skills that they have already acquired.

Pupils feel well looked after and safe in the school community.
