2025-26 Fee Structure

Flexible payment schemes

Because we recognise that families need to plan their finances carefully, we offer parents different ways to pay school fees:

Annually – Payment by 31 August in advance of the academic year

Termly Direct Debit – Payments in September, January and April in advance for each term

Monthly Direct Debit – Payments each month from September to June (10 equal instalments).

Who can pay school fees?

While historically it has been the parent(s) or guardian(s) who wish for their children to benefit from a Bridgewater School education, as a family-focused school we understand the desire for grandparents to be involved in ensuring their grandchild’s future success and this investment can also be financial.

As a grandparent you are entitled to gift up to £3,000 per year exempt from inheritance tax. This exemption can also be carried forward one year if previously unused, which means that two grandparents making the provision for the first time can gift £12,000 between them for the first year and £6,000 per year thereafter.

Grandparents also have the tax-efficient option of setting up a trust towards their grandchildren’s education costs. Please contact our Finance Manager for more information at johnsonr@bwslive.co.uk and speak to an Independent Financial Advisor for all financial and tax considerations.

Government funding for nursery fees

Did you know you could save as much as £5,250 per year on nursery fees* with nursery funding available. To check your eligibility and apply online, visit www.gov.uk and search ’30 hours free childcare’.

*Terms and conditions apply. Please contact our Finance Manager on 0161 794 1463 for more details.
