Job Opportunities

As a thriving independent school providing education for boys and girls aged 3-18 years, nurturing individuality lies at the heart of everything we do and it is this family ethos that makes our school such a wonderful place to be.

Founded in 1950 by a group of parents with a shared vision, Bridgewater School offers an inspirational environment in which to teach. Set within four acres of woodland in the semi-rural area of Worsley, Greater Manchester, Bridgewater offers dynamic opportunities in learning, sport and extra-curricular activities, and a cohesive, supportive atmosphere for all staff.

Compassion and good relationships underpin all of our practices, ensuring a positive working environment alongside hard-working and dedicated colleagues, where pupils are well-motivated and parents and teachers work together to provide them with all the guidance, support and encouragement needed to succeed.

The additional benefits of working at Bridgewater School include:

  • Competitive financial packages
  • Positive working environment
  • Pension Scheme
  • Reduction on school fees
  • Free wraparound childcare
  • Personal development training opportunities
  • Family friendly policies
  • Induction support
  • Opportunities to participate in our extra-curricular and enrichment programmes
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
