Making an application

Parents with children wishing to be considered for our outstanding Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) are invited to make an appointment with the Head of Early Years for a personal tour of the school together with a taster session for your child which will enable them to spend time with the class and class teacher and experience how inspiring and enjoyable school life can be.

Children may start in Kindergarten in the term of their third birthday. Children who are 4 by 31st August move up into Reception class in the September. We can also accommodate children in Kindergarten who require part-time places (part day or part week), though morning sessions are recommended as this enables your child to participate fully in the school activities.

Children are generally accepted into Kindergarten in the first term after their third birthday, however some flexibility can be offered around start dates for 2-3 year olds.

To discuss an in-year Kindergarten or Reception place or to register, please contact Mrs Andrea Johnson on 0161 794 1463 or email admin@bwslive.co.uk. Our next EYFS & Prep Department Open Morning will take place on Saturday 28th March 2026, between 10am and 1pm.

A welcome message from Miss Armstrong

Virtual Open Day

Whilst we firmly believe that the best way to experience our vibrant school community is to spend time with us, our Virtual Open Day enables you to take a virtual tour of our wonderful grounds and facilities, hear from our Heads of Department and see for yourself why children are so happy here. Please view here>

Alternatively, if you would like to arrange a personal visit or would simply like to know more about our individual approach, please contact us on 0161 794 1463 or email admin@bwslive.co.uk
