Prep III Roman Chester Experience

As part of our History topic on the Romans, Prep III will be going to visit the Grosvenor Roman Museum in Chester on Wednesday 26th January 2022.

The day consists of a workshop led by a museum expert, during which the children will learn about Roman times by investigating artefacts. Pupils will also participate in a Roman soldier patrol, when they will discover what life was like for a Roman soldier and visit various Roman remains including the amphitheatre. This will be a truly memorable learning experience for all the children.

We will leave school at 9am and return at approximately 3.25pm. The children must wear school uniform, including their school coat. A packed lunch will be provided. There is a small gift shop and children may bring some money for souvenirs if they wish. We suggest no more than £5.
