Prep III trip to Tatton Park

As part of our History topic on the Stone Age, Prep III will be going to visit Tattenhall in Chester on Friday 13th September 2024.

The day will be mainly held outside (weather depending) and will include activities such as outdoor cooking, methods of communication (cave painting / storytelling), corn grinding and shelter building. Children will also be introduced to how we learn about the part by artefacts recovered in archaeological digs.

Own clothes are permitted for the day, but please take note of weather conditions and wear sensible clothes (including coat) and footwear suitable for outdoor activities.

We will leave school at 9am and return at approximately 3.15pm. A packed lunch will be provided. Children should bring a refillable water bottle.
