Prep IV coastal outdoor venture

A one-night trip to the Conway Centre in Anglesey, where Prep IV pupils will enjoy a variety of activities including rope climbing, kayaking and rock climbing, in a different and exciting environment, enabling the children to form a stronger bond with their peers and new teachers and have lots of fun.

The trip will take place from Monday 13th September, departing at 8.30am and returning on Tuesday 14th September at approximately 3.30pm.

Cost of the trip includes transport via minibus, accommodation, meals and all activity fees. (Your child will require a small amount of pocket money to purchase souvenirs, drinks and additional snacks).

Advised kit list (please ensure all clothing clearly named):

  • Travel clothes (also for wearing around the hostel during the evenings)
  • Waterproof coat
  • 4 pairs ordinary socks
  • 3 t-shirts
  • 2 pullovers or fleece tops (NB long sleeves must be worn for activities)
  • Pair of old trousers or tracksuit bottoms
  • 1 pair of trainers plus 1 old pair for water activities
  • Pair of swimming shorts or swim suit
  • Suitable towels for the beach
  • Sun hat
  • 4 sets of underwear
  • Pyjamas or nightwear
  • Sealable drinking bottle
  • 1 large towel for the hostel
  • 1 small towel
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Shower gel / shampoo
  • Deodorant (NOT aerosols)
  • Hairbrush / comb
  • Lip balm
  • Sun block
  • Plasters
  • Book or magazine
