As part of our Ancient Greek topic this term, an in-school workshop has been organised for Prep V. The workshop, entitled ‘The Glorious Ancient Greeks’ will take place on Wednesday 25th January 2023 and will encompass a whole day of classroom-based activities, all delivered by a rich Athenian lady and a Spartan tutor.

The focus will be on everyday life during Ancient Greece’s ‘Golden Age’ and how Greek ideas have influenced the western world in areas such as medicine, science, language, democracy, drama and much more. The use of hands-on activities, artefacts, games, costumes and drama will bring the children’s history learning to life.
