Prep V Victorian Workshop

Prep V’s topic for the Autumn Term is the Victorians and the children will be participating in some exciting and practical experiences to bring history to life.

On Monday 2nd October the children will be taking part in a Victorian workshop in school, led by expert historian Del Bannister. The children will experience a Victorian school room through role play, using dip pens and slates, and contrast modern school life with pupils’ experiences in Victorian times. They will also learn about Victorian home life using artefacts and photographs. This will provide a lively and enjoyable learning opportunity, reinforcing our history topic practically.
