Prep V visit Chester Zoo

On Thursday 6th June 2024, Prep V will be visiting Chester Zoo as part of our Geography topic on Rainforests. The children will participate in a workshop where they will use their senses to imagine what it feels like in the rainforest and think about why rainforests are under threat. We will also think about the classification of animals in the rainforest, their adaptations, life cycles and food chains. In the afternoon pupils will also have the opportunity to explore the zoo to look at rainforest animals and their habitats.

We will leave school at 9.10am, returning at approximately 3.30pm via school minibus. A packed lunch will be provided. Full school uniform must be worn.

Children are welcome to bring a small amount of money for souvenirs. We suggest no more than £10.
