World Book Day 2025

As part of our continuous focus on literacy, we will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday 7th March. As a way of emphasising the wonder of books and reading to our children, we will be enjoying lots of reading activities over the day and teachers will be sharing their favourite books and stories with pupils.

Pupils are invited to dress in pyjamas (weather appropriate) and bring a book to donate. These books will be donated to The Children’s Book Charity, who provide books to schools and organisations in the UK to help children who have little access to reading.

Reception and Prep

We will also have the West End in Schools drama company in school to further bring books to life. Drama workshops will be organised for all children from Reception class to Prep VI.
