Rosie Edwards

Rosie Edwards, Class of 2022.

Currently studying a Fine Arts degree at the University of Chester. A talented artist, violinist and pianist, keen cyclist and Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award recipient, Rosie joined Bridgewater in 2015 and leaves with three A-levels in Music (A*), Art (A*) and English Literature (A).

“I joined Bridgewater in the November of Year 7 and, although I joined later on, the feeling of community and friendly staff made me feel seen and welcomed from day one.

Along with passionate and dedicated teachers, the level of individual support has been what really helped me at Bridgewater, smaller class sizes creating a safe environment for learning. I will be forever grateful for all the opportunities and encouragement I’ve received from my teachers over the years, and for just how much they have helped me grow in self-confidence, helping me to achieve my potential and surpass my own expectations.

I knew I wanted to stay at Bridgewater Sixth Form as the amount of care and help given, especially during A-Levels, is rare to find anywhere else. The invaluable support from the Head of Sixth Form with writing our Personal Statements, as well as the informative talks during weekly Enrichment sessions, were crucial for me in preparation for university life.”

The feeling of community and friendly staff made me feel seen and welcomed from day one.
