The start of the senior journey
Joining in Year 7 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Students benefit from a structured transition into Senior School life, building strong academic foundations, positive study habits and confidence across a broad and balanced curriculum.
Our smaller class sizes and supportive pastoral care ensure that every child quickly feels part of our school community.
Year 7
Key Stage 3 and in-year transfers
We understand that sometimes families seek a change of school to better suit their child’s needs, ambitions or wellbeing, and we welcome mid-stream applications at any point in the academic year.
We work closely with families to ensure smooth transitions and a strong sense of belonging from day one.
Key Stage 3
The GCSE years
The GCSE years are pivotal. These two years help shape future pathways and open doors to Sixth Form, university and career opportunities.
At Bridgewater, Key Stage 4 combines high expectations with expert guidance and individual attention. Students are supported to develop effective study skills, intellectual independence and resilience – ensuring excellent outcomes and strong added value progress.
A limited number of additional places are available at Year 10 for dedicated and ambitious learners seeking a focused and supportive GCSE environment.
Key Stage 4
Our highly experienced teaching team is committed to bringing hidden talent and undiscovered potential out into the light.
