As part of our Ancient Greek topic, an in-school workshop has been organised for Prep V children. This will take place on Monday 22nd January 2024 and will provide a whole day of activities in the classroom and Prep Hall.

The workshop is called The Glorious Ancient Greeks. A rich Athenian lady and a Spartan tutor will work with the class all day. The focus will be on everyday life during Ancient Greece’s ‘Golden Age’ and how Greek ideas have influenced the western world in areas such as medicine, science, language, democracy, drama and much more. They use lots of hands-on activities, artefacts, games, art, costumes and drama to bring their history learning to life.
