As part of our art studies, Prep VI children have the opportunity to visit the Lowry Gallery and take part in two workshops led by the Lowry’s artist in residence. The morning workshop will study LS Lowry’s techniques in drawing and painting urban and industrial landscapes, whilst our afternoon session will be drama based, using Lowry’s work as inspiration.

The class will travel to Salford Quays by minibus, leaving school at 9.30am and returning before the end of the school day. A packed lunch will be provided.
