USA History trip 2026

The History department are delighted to reintroduce their trip to the United States in November 2026. The proposed dates are 26th November to 2nd December, visiting New York and Washington DC.

Flying from Manchester, we will first visit New York for 4 days where we will take in the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, Broadway and midtown Manhattan, as well as the sites of Lower Manhattan including Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial, plus a ferry trip to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty.

A coach transfer to Washington DC follows, for a 3 day stay visiting various memorials including the Jefferson and Lincoln sites, the White House, National Mall, Holocaust Museum and Fords Theatre. Students will also have the opportunity to visit Congress to see the seat of American government.

To secure your son or daughter’s place, a non-returnable deposit of £200 is required by 28th February 2026. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
