On Friday 4th July, Dr Wong and Mr Thorp have arranged several academic visits in Manchester. These will consist of a guided visit to Manchester Central Library, followed by tours and visits to specific departments and Q&A sessions with academics at MMU and The University of Manchester.

Students must meet outside Manchester Central Library, St Peter’s Square, Manchester at 9:45am. They will then proceed as a group to the library and the universities – including a lunch stop on Oxford Road in between. The day will end at approximately 2:30/3:00pm after a tour of The University of Manchester and the students will be free to depart at that point.

There is no cost for the day as students will be making their own way to and from Manchester and can choose to bring a packed lunch or buy something there. They do not need to come to school beforehand.
