Y10 Macbeth theatre trip

A theatre trip has been organised to see a production of Macbeth at the Bolton Octagon Theatre on Friday 6th March 2026.

Macbeth is a set text on the Person Edexcel iGCSE Literature course, so watching a production of the play will be an invaluable opportunity for our students. Watching a live theatre production will be particularly helpful as we are currently working on our Macbeth coursework this term, with the students producing an essay that will contribute to 20% of their final mark for their English Literature GCSE.

The performance starts at 1pm and we will be leaving school after an early lunch, returning for approximately 4pm. Students using school transport will therefore need to make alternative arrangements.
