Inspiring creativity at our Prep Art Exhibition
This week, we were delighted to host our Prep Art Exhibition, which proved to be a tremendous success and a highlight of the term. The exhibition brought together an inspiring and diverse collection of artwork created by pupils from across all year groups, from Kindergarten through to Prep VI.
From imaginative early creations by our youngest pupils to more developed and technically refined pieces by our older students, the exhibition truly reflected the progression of skills and creativity nurtured throughout the Prep department.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for the school community to come together and celebrate the creativity and effort that goes into art here at Bridgewater. Pupils took great pride in seeing their work displayed, while families and staff enjoyed exploring the exhibition and appreciating the breadth of talent on show.
In addition to the exhibition, our Art Club pupils played an active role in the event by creating a selection of handmade bracelets and colouring books. These were available to purchase during the exhibition and we are pleased to share that the Art Club raised £70, which will be used to purchase additional art resources to further enrich creative opportunities within the Prep department.
We would like to thank all pupils, staff and families who contributed to and supported this special event, especially our Prep Art Coordinator and Art Club leader, Mrs Chilton. The Prep Art Exhibition was a wonderful celebration of creativity and community, and we look forward to seeing even more artistic achievements in the future.
